Setting up email in your Iphone/Ipod Touch

In your Iphone/Ipod Touch Settings tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
Start setting up your iPhone Mail or iPod Touch by tapping Settings.


Tap Add Account...
Tap Add Account.

 

Tap Other.
Tap Other.

 

Select Add Mail Account.
Select Add Mail Account.

 

  • Enter your Name.
  • Enter your E-mail Address e.g. mail@yourdomain.com, yourdomain.com being your domain hosted by All Web Now.
  • Password is the password that you selected for the email account in the Control Panel.
  • Enter a Description e.g. name@yourdomain.com.

Enter your Name and password.

 

Tap Save.
Enter your Name and password.

 

Highlight the IMAP tab.
Highlight the IMAP tab.

 

  • For Incoming Mail Server enter mail.yourdomain.com as Host Name, yourdomain.com being your domain hosted by All Web Now.
  • Enter your email address as User Name e.g. name@yourdomain.com.
  • Enter your Password that you created in the control panel.

Highlight the IMAP tab.

 

  • For Outgoing Mail Server enter mail.yourdomain.com as Host Name.
  • Enter your email address as User Name e.g. name@yourdomain.com.
  • Enter your Password that you created in the control panel.

Your iPhone is verifying IMAP account information.

 

  • When asked Do you want to try setting up the account without SSL? tap No.
  • Then tap Save again.

Answer no to the question regarding SSL.

 

When the message This account may not be able to send or receive emails. Are you sure you want to save? appears, tap Save.
Tap save to save your changes.

 

Tap the mail account you just created.
Tap the mail account you just created on your iPhone.

 

Tap SMTP under Outgoing Mail Server.
Tap SMTP under Outgoing Mail Server.

 

Tap mail.yourdomain.com under Primary Server.
Tap mail.yourdomain.com under Primary Server.

 

Make sure Use SSL is OFF.
Make sure that the SSL option is OFF.

 

Change Server Port under Outgoing Mail Server to 587
Make sure that the SSL option is OFF.

 

Now go back to the screen entitled “name@yourdomain.com” by tapping the back button twice, and then tap Advanced.
Tap Advanced on the phone.

 

Tap Deleted Mailbox under Mailbox Behaviors.
Tap Deleted Mailbox.

 

Tap Trash under On the Server.
Tap Trash on the iPhone.

 

Go back to the previous screen by tapping the back button and Tap Sent Mailbox under Mailbox Behaviors.
Tap Deleted Mailbox.

 

Tap Sent under On the Server.
Tap Sent on the iPhone.

 

Go back to the previous screen by tapping the back button and Tap Drafts Mailbox under Mailbox Behaviors.
Tap Deleted Mailbox.

 

Tap Drafts under On the Server.
Tap Drafts on the iPhone.
